I have a death certificate for my great grandfather, Andrew Jackson Edwards Jr, who died in 1916. For place of internment, Ensley, AL has been crossed out and replaced with what looks like County Farm, although the C originally looked like an E, etc.. I know they did not own a farm and was wondering if anyone knows what this might mean or where I could find further information. Could this be a cemetery for the poor, for prisoners.... Have spoken to the Center for Health Statistics and they couldn't help. The "reporter" was listed as R.E. Cloud, MD in Ensley. Any suggestions? Thanks for any and all help. bchoney@mindspring.com
