I have a small book "Civil War Records of Jefferson Co., AL" Marilyn Davis Barefield, Compiler. This contains only a very small portion of the names and in not indexed. There is a 1907 census of 358 confederate veterans living in Jefferson County. There is also a list of confederate pension application from Jefferson CO. I'd be happy to do a lookup of these names. As the book states, this is a very incomplete list of those who served from Jefferson County. The majority of my ancestors from Jefferson County serving in the CSA were found at the B'ham library on film.
