I have also heard through at least two different branches of Rebecca's line that Rebecca was Indian. I find it interesting that your family has the same family tradition although you descend from her first cousin, thus the connection is even farther back. Maybe there may be something to the story about them being Indian, after all. I would be interested in comparing and exchaning information.
