Hello, I am hoping that someone on this list might be able to help, as I live in VA and don't have easy access to any of the local records. I am searching for information on Arthur Pierce Nelson, b. 1889 in AL, son of Henry Seaborn Nelson and Mary Vianna Morton. He died 20 May 1954 in Birmingham and is buried at Elmwood cemetery. According to family information, he may have owned an ice plant in Birmingham, but I have been unable to confirm this. I do not know any information on his wife or children. I am hoping that if I can find a cousin from this line that I can further my research on the Nelsons. If anyone would be able to do an obituary look-up, I would be glad to pay for copies. Or if anyone has any suggestions for how to find out more about Arthur Nelson's family, I would be grateful. I have contacted the funeral home that handled his arrangements, but they were unable to provide any further information. I feel certain that he still has descendants in the Birmingham area.
