Does anyone know if records of the Huey & McConnell Funeral Home/Undertakers of Bessemer are still available for the 1918 time frame and where they may be accessed? I have an obit and death certificate for my Grandmother (Ruby Mae LYLE CARNES) who died 12/13/1918 in Bessemer in the influenza epidemic. Neither of these documents are very helpful.
