    3. My mother was also born at White's Chapel (early 1920's) - not far from the Jeff/St Clair line - she is not sure exactly where it was, but recalls it north of Leeds, west of Moody just over the line into St Clair Co from JeffCo. Her older brother took her there recently, and as I recall that's the area she described then. For support, I checked the land records for Fulmers -- William C Fulmer entered land in 1882 that fits the description: Sec 22 Township 16 Range 1 East (NESE). This land would be about 1 mile due east of the Camp Coleman Girl Scout Camp shown on my Ala State DOT highway map, and puts is inside St Clair County. It fits the description. My rootsweb search indicated that it was in Etowah Co. I have received an e-mail since then that indicated that it was a small community near Trussville, AL in St. Clair and/or Jefferson Co. I would appreciate any clarification on this matter from anyone who might be familiar with this area of Alabama. I am searching for the Fulmer and White families.
