    3. More news from the Pratt City Herald - July 22, 1899 Mrs. M. ATKINSON has purchased a brick building on Third street. Mr. W. H. BARNARD who has been away on a visit to Atlanta and several other Georgia towns, returned Wednesday. Master Monroe GEORGE has been very sick the past week having suffered from appendicitis. Last Wednesday, Mr. M. T. SUMNER, a civilian engineer from Birmingham, was employed to establish the lines and corners of the various lots in the burnt district. Dr. W. R. WALDROP, of Bessemer, sold a house and lot near Ida Station to Charlie PEROLIO, last week for $800. Mr. Sam FOLEY and Mrs. Mattie LAMBERT were been quietly united in the holy bonds of matrimony by Rev. H. S.
