    1. [ALJEFFER] Backing up your files
    2. Someone mentioned losing information. I lost my family files last year when a lightning strike took my primary and secondary hard drives. Fortunately I had paper copies, but I had to reenter them. I didn't have paper copies of all the stuff I've saved off the internet. I've added to my computer a device called a One Touch backup system. It backs up every day at the same time automatically, but I can also push a button and get a backup if I've been doing a lot of work and want to save it. It's made by Maxtor and costs about $150. It is not too hard to set up -- your grandson or whoever sets up computer stuff for you can do this. When we have thunder storms, I unplug that device so that I don't lose everything again. Just a suggestion. I use CDs too -- but I never want to have to collect everything again. Rae Williams www.grannyandpopacaldwell.com

    2. According to http://komando.com/<http://komando.com/> (an excellent site) the Maxtor is a good product. Thanks for the tip. I spend a lot of time backing up files and this could save me some time!
