"BELOW THE SURFACE" One day last week, so it is said, three boys at Blossburg, named Jesse JACKSON, Ross TURNER, and Chester LYNN, stole from the check office a check amounting to over $100. It is further said that they tried to make use of the check at the store of Mr. TURNER, where they were detected and the matter reported to the office. Later, it is said the mother of Jesse JACKSON, fearing detection, destroyed the check in the fire. No arrests were made so far as could be learned, and it is understood that settlement is pending between the parents of the boys and the company. DICKINSON, assisted by Rev. M. M. WOOD, and Rev. B. D. GRAY from Birmingham. The remains were interred at Woodlawn cemetery. The Funeral services were delayed that her brothers, the Messrs.
