Hello y'all, I am currently updating an old Pace-Randall family tree a cousin did prior to 1968 & am hoping to find four obituaries. My second great aunt was Ernestine Randall who married John Emerson Starbuck in the early - mid 1900's, she was born 19 January 1890 in Fulton County, Georgia & passed-away in February 1982 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. Ernestine Starbuck Jr. was born 04 November 1914 in Fulton County, Georgia she married Charles Clark & passed-away 10 October 1991 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. Charles Clark was born 12 July 1910 in Frederickstown, Ohio & as you can see in the above married cousin Ernestine, Charles passed-away July 1976 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. John Emerson Starbuck Jr. was born 22 July 1918 in Fulton County, Georgia & passed-away September 1977 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. Cousin John was married but I do not know his wife's name. Thank you for any help in obtaining these obituaries to include in our Pace-Randall family tree. Sincerely, Lena --------------------------------- Be a better Globetrotter. Get better travel answers from someone who knows. Yahoo! Answers - Check it out.

One map which shows townships is at http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/maps/alabama/statemap/alabama1915.jpg The numbers are only at the edge of the two areas. One has to count from the meridian and base lines to identify a township/range label. The best bet for maps with township and range is to order the DOT county maps. They are inexpensive and are great maps for research purposes, especially the large ones [1" = 1 mile]. Information about them can be found at http://www.myalabamagenealogy.com/al_maps/al_dot.htm A great list of links for various sites with AL maps is located at http://jrshelby.com/hcl/al.htm Hope this helps, Melba ----- Original Message ----- From: <RaeSunshin@aol.com> To: <aljeffer@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, June 27, 2007 8:47 AM Subject: [ALJEFF] map link? > Does anyone have the link to the U of Alabama maps that have ranges and > townships on them?
