Thomas Allen Hill and his wife Nancy arrived in present Bridgeport area from TN sometime before 1828 and remained, according to census, thru 1880. Children, all born on farm just west of present Bridgeport: Ellis G. b. 1828, m. Elizabeth Thompson, d. 1898 buried 30 miles north in Lyons cemetery, Victoria, TN m. Elizabeth Thompson d. 1879, granddaughter reported buried Mount Olive cemetery, Bridgeport. No such cemetery Martha b. 1830, m.
