Am most interested in any information on the families and children of Nancy HUGHES who married William CUNNINGHAM on 27 January 1861 on Jackson Co. William CUNNINGHAM interred service in the Confederate Cavalry in 1862. The couple did have three children during their brief marriage before he was killed prior to the end of the War. Those children were: Mary L. CUNNINGHAM 1862 - Frances CUNNINGHAM 1864 - Believe to have married John C. THOMPSON on 20 May 1894 Elizabeth CUNNINGHAM 1865 - Believe to have married a W. R. HALE on 26 November 1888 Widow Nancy (HUGHES) CUNNIGHAM and three children were living with her parents Richard P. and Chrischarma HUGHES per the 1870 Jackson Co. census. On 30 July 1871, she married Robert GILLILAND. There was at least on child born to that union: Nancy GILLILAND, b.
