Jesse Shelton b.29 Aug 1818 Lincoln Co TN married Ruth Jackson McDuff in Jackson Co 23 Aug 1838. Ruth's parents were Richard Ryan McDuff and Elizabeth Reynolds. I have never been able to connect Jesse with his parents. I'm looking for help from anyone who can sort out the numerous Sheltons in the area of Lincoln Co TN and Jackson Co AL.
