Seeking any info on John JOHNSON, b. 1780-90, prob TN, NC or VA. John JOHNSON shows on 1840 Jackson Co AL census. He lived on Sand Mountain, and ran a grist mill. Where?? He ground corn for the Indians "for their trip west" and probably for everybody else. Can anybody give me a clue where this grist mill might have been located? Also, would like contact with other descendants. Thank you, Judy
