Seeking any info on John JOHNSON. He shows on 1830 Jackson Co census. Could some kind soul please help me with the census info on this man? My records indicate that he lived on Sand Mountain and ran a grist mill. I believe this family was in Jackson Co. by 1820, possibly as early as 1815. The father of John (given name unk) came with him from TN when they migrated to AL. I would like to have "location" in the county (district, twp, etc.), the five surnames on each side of my John JOHNSON, and the breakdown of the columns on how many persons (male & female & ages) in this household. John JOHNSON should be between 40-50 years of age. Wife of John JOHNSON was Loveth Louisa Pullen, called Lovie. The 1838 will of Lovie's father, William Pullen is on record in DeKalb Co. Last, can anybody tell from the area if this area of Jackson Co. became a part of DeKalb Co. by 1840? Any help appreciated. Would fall over myself to exchange info with someone who also connects to John JOHNSON. Thank you very much. Judy Johnson Erickson
