Jeremiah H. Cloud owned land in Madison County in 1815. William Cloud migrated to Madison County from SC a few years later and has many descendants in the county today. My uncle, James W. Cloud, moved to Madison County from Autauga County in 1940. Descendants of these Cloud and members of all other Cloud families who live in the Tessessee Valley have a rare opportunity this July 14-16 to attend the annual meeting of the nationwide Cloud Family Association without making a long trip. It's in Huntsville this year, the first of its 23 annual meetings to be held in Alabama.
