Ellis G. Hill b. 1828, Bridgeport, Jackson Cty. Al. Married Elizabeth Thompson 1850. Lived on western edge of present Bridgeport just off Bridgeport-russell cave road. Elizabeth died 1879 and her granddaughter wrote that she was buried in Mt. Olive cemetery in Bridgeport. Ellis remarried widowed neighbor(name forgotten for the moment), the grandmother of Scottsboro's Mrs. Carlus Page.
