William (Billy) H. Hill, my grandfather, b. 1856 on property just west of Bridgeport off Bridgeport-Russell Cave road. Present in 1860 and 1870 Jackson Cty. census. History lost until 1898 when, at age 43 he married in Metropolus, Il a 15 year old girl, Carrie Adkinson from Kuttawa, Ky and moved in 1900 to Corrigan, Tx., a lumber mill town. His marriage licnese shows his residence as Victoria, Tn (Marion Cty.) located just north of Bridgeport. Died in 1919 and buried in corrigan, Tx Billy Hill denmanh@flash.net Parents: Ellis G.
