I have three oldest children born in Jackson co AL Matthew (Mathias?) b 1832 AL James Mehlander b 1835 AL Andrew (?may be middle name) b AL I have nothing prior to this... Ellis & family moved to MO by 1839 & no info on the line prior to that is available .. I do show Ellis Campbell on 1830 Lincoln co TN census... but if this is same Ellis C... he had a first wife & 3 girls (1 under 10 & two under 5).
