Researching the John and Charlotte CLAY family of Princeton, Paint Rock Valley, during the years 1820-1853, especially their son James M. CLAY (b.1822) who married Nancy M. LAMB (b. 1825 TN). Nancy's parents, Samuel D. LAMB (b. ca 1796 NC) and Mary Ann GRAHAM (1802 NC) married in Madison Co, AL in 1820. Samuel LAMB was the son of Jacob LAM(B) (NC>AL) and Martha (NC>AL>MO).
