Cooper who revised "The Sacred Harp" songbook. He is, by what little information I can gather, from the Dothan area. I believe his daughter or close female relative, Anna Cooper, m Dr. Randall David Blackshear and was responsible for writing the alto line for several songs in this same songbook.
