Growing up in the community, we referred to it as Winslett (referencing the church across the road). I did not know that the 'official' name was Jellico Community Cemetery until I reached adulthood. It probably was always Jellico but folks referred to it by different names. Many obits mentioned Piney Grove or Winslett but the people are actually buried at Jellico. Piney Grove Church is just down SR 9 with a cemetery attached.
