Oscar D WHITE b 1887, married Eva Mae ANGLIN, lived in Gordon 1930 with children Esther, Eunice, OD jr., Bernice, Lois, Harold, Rufus, and Richard. Oscar and his wife are buried at Union Springs Freewill Baptist Church near Pansey, AL. Alex WHITE b. 1890, married Lottie C. PALMER, lived in Gordon in 1930 with children Alex, Kimble, Agnes, John, and Melvin. I am particularly interested in their parents. I believe their mother was Sylvania and her husband died when the children were young. She re-married THOMPSON and had four more children: Ella, Emmett, Columbus, and Major. I believe her THOMPSON husband abandoned her and the children sometime between 1908 and 1910...as the youngest child was born 1908 and she was listed as head of household on the 1910 census.
