    1. [ALHouston] Homer T. Jones died on Monday, June 16, 2003
    2. One of the sweetest, most helpful, knowledgeable men I know has just passed on. He was such a dear friend to me; although, we had only met once and emailed about genealogy and Civil War items hundreds of times. He will certainly be missed!!! He was a real Southern gentlemen in all respects; and had such a love for people and Civil War soldiers. He was the founder of the Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp in Ozark (now defunct); and very supportive of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and all things patriotic. My sympathy goes out to Homer's family! It is really hard to lose someone of his demeanor! Mrs. Ceya Minder (Robert E.)
