I have a theory on who may be William's father, but no proof. I am pretty certain Jane Grant's father was Giles Grant, based on Giles Grant's will. Giles Grant is buried in Pea River Cemetery, Barbour County, AL, the same one as William and Jane. Giles' is buried beside his wife, Mary, but I don't know if that is Jane's mother or not.
