The story I have is that Jessie did in a fire of some kind around 1905 and George courted her younger sister Annie Elizabeth Cooley around 1908. George W ONEAL bn abt 1871 in GA was the son of James B ONEAL who was born in SC abt 1824. James ONEAL was married to a Barabary/Barbara sometime around 1849--possibly in Gadsden County Florida where they are found in the census years bet 1850 and 1870. I am pretty sure that this James B ONEAL is the same one who served with the Company C 6th Regiment Florida Infantry--Confederate. James ONEAL was living in Henry County in 1900 as a widow with 2 of his daughters Margaret and Leila both listed as school teachers. Would appreciate any info on where they may have taught. I would like to know what may have happened to James and children Mary, Margaret, Thomas, James and Leila. George and his 2nd wife Annie are found in Houston County in the 1910 and 1920 census'. They relocated to POLK COUNTY, FL sometime between the 1920 and 1930. Would be very interested in hearing from anyone who may know anything about this family
