From what I was told, he was born 1806 in Germany, entered US in 1832 and died some time in 185x. He married a Sarah A. Watson from Florida in 1833. Samuel was buried in Columbia, AL and then Sarah was buried in Snead (Sneed?), Florida. I have seen the other post on here that briefly mention him, but I am looking for more information as well as any help in tracing his roots as well (can't find him in Germany). Any and all information I have put together thus far, I am more than happy to share. Sincerely, Christopher Solomon +son of Edward Solomon ++son of Stanley Lude Solomon

During my only visit there, I was new to research and didn't think to note graves surrounding that of my 2 ancestor's I was in search of. I had a 1957 picture of the church, which was of no help, but the kind people at the Wicksburg fire station called someone and he came and directed me to the church. I did think to take a picture of the present day church and it can be found on the Houston County web site at this url: http://www.rootsweb.com/~alhousto/cemetery/tabernacle/tabernacle.htm Compared to most, it is a relatively small cemetery behind the church. I will pay for gas, film and postage costs for anyone willing to visit this cemetery for me. Thank you, Gale Stafford-Wall Olathe, Kansas
