Dan, while I respectfully see your point, I also disagree at least as far as our pages go. We have our own domain, which houses our WY, CO and NE pages, a one-name study, all of our surname pages, and various other projects such as my old photo collection. I do not allow ftp access to anyone but Don and I, probably because at one point years back pages were hacked, stolen and/or deleted. I am on a trusted server now. In the event that something should happen to one of us, the other will continue. In the event, something should happen to both or the one remaining cannot continue, passwords etc are available to our children who will inherit our website. Everyone should consider that your work in your websites is actually part of your estate. You should designate in your will or a directive, notarized, who is to receive ownership as well as access. Perhaps it wouldn't matter on smaller sites, such as a one county site.
