    2. .CFM pages only work on a ColdFusion Server. Your database has to be connected to the ColdFusion Server. The server turns the CFML code into HTML using the database connection. Hostek.com was the least expensive ColdFusion Server I could find. GoDaddy used to have a better price on ColdFusion, but they dropped ColdFusion out from under all of us that had accounts there, said to stay with them, we could learn something else like Ruby on Rails??? Well all those are much more complicated than ColdFusion. You don't need a program to code ColdFusion, you just have to know the code. You could do it in WordPad, I use Dreamweaver. 3. I have dream weaver , also some asp stuff. Its been a long time since I dropped all those for html 4.01, I been stuck using past ten years. I guess most browsers translate the all not any how. I was worried the html 4 was going obsolete I thought about a newer editor so I could use newer codes with out going long hand, most of the time when re fixing web pages I run multiples in note tab.
