On some domains they offer ( simple scripts ) what does dream host offer? I might just buy a domain today just to practice and see. I would be willing to consider hosting ALHN. It would take lest time than sponsoring a state (I just don't have the time in this season of life - I've informed Darlene that I'm giving up Minnesota). In the past, they've also offered free hosting to non-profits. Not sure if they still do. They have all the plugins - Wordpress, MySQL, pictures - even a "family tree" app. However, I've not used most of them since other things exist that are easier to use (in my opinion) such as Flickr (that's where I post all of my own genealogy pics). Thanks Kevin. Just the answer I was looking for. OH, sad to hear your giving up. Wives have a priority, I am glad my wife loves computers more than me, lol, I would be a little lonely with out mine. Grinning. If I buy a domain on dreamhost, would that work for alhn to be a part of it. As it said, there are unlimited possibilities. Any one can check out http://www.dreamhost.com/ and see if we could analyze it further. ( buks a month is not much to donate we could talk that over, but only for any extras, as for the domain I buy into, I will support as I still do mine.
