Yes the street in Dothan and the Street in Headland were both name for my kinflok. The Street in Dothan was named for Governor William Calvin Oates and the street in Headland for my secondgreatgrandfather Dr.W.S. Oates. he had a hand in founding Headland in 1893. He and Governor Oates were distant cousins. Dr. Oates grandfather Stephen and Gov. Oates father William were second cousins.
