My greatgrandmother Oates was born Mamie Elizabeth Soloman d.b.11/jan/1883 m: Walter Bragg Oates 1/Feb/1903 in Headland Ala. SHe died 11/Apr/1969. She was the daughter of John Thomas Soloman and Laura Emma Price who had eight children. Eva Price d.b.17/Aug/1880 m: Edwin T. Carroll 1903. d.d.17/Aug/1987. They had five children George Soloman Carroll, Marie, Wille Kittye, Edwin T. Carroll II, and Janice all born in Waycross Georgia. Mamie Oates who had nine children. Emmett C. 1885-1975, Ralph S., Emma Kate, William died 1896 the year he was born, Robert E., Corine. I have information on Mamie, but I need information on the rest of her siblings.
