My ggrandparents were Merity (M.) and Sarah Jane Wright (daughter of William and Sarah Pierce Wright) Hicks who were married in Henry County, AL on Jan 14, 1873. (In the marriage book my ggrandfather's first name is spelled Morridy.) Do you know if Solomon was the father of William Wright? Sarah Jane had a sister, Mary E. who married Robert W. Brown on Dec. 22, 1879 in Henry County, AL. Is Robert W. Brown part of your Brown line? Mary E. Wright Brown was living in Clopton at the time of my ggrandmother's death in 1938.
