Sharon, I think both libraries have about the same on Henry County, Alabama information; but, the Houston Memorial Library (Local History Room) has more microfilm and census index books that you would find useful. Plus, we have lots of information on the counties that came out of Henry County that you will most assuredly have to look in. A relative of mine told me that Henry County Courthouse will no longer let you get copies of their records (in the big books). You can only hand copy what you need. I don't know this for a fact; but, she said that they would not let her copy anything on the xerox machine??? I have many Henry County, Alabama books too. What names are you working on?
