Okay, the only Emily I can find is daughter of Ira Segers. She is Emily or Emaline, born about 1836 in Alabama. I don't have anything else on her, like spouse or death date. My Segers start in eastern NC with John Segers and his son SOuthward Segers Sr. Southward married Sarah and had the following children: Courtney, IRA, Patsey, and John. Then he married Nancy and had the following children: Gus, SOUTHWARD JR, Rebecca, Delilah, Smithy, and Martha. I am descended from Southward Jr.....The Emily I'm telling you about is the daughter of his halfbrother Ira. Ira (b. 2-1-1798 in NC) moved to Barbour CO. AL. and married Elizabeth. Their children: Matthew?, Hugh?, Letty, Sally, Southward, Emily, William, James and Mary. Let me know if you think this could be your Emily. A good clue would be her est. birthdate of 1836, also look at her childrens' names...you can see that names are repeated in this fmily quite a bit. Hope this helps...let me know, Stephanie
