On June 26, 1852, Ira made a land purchase from John Peterson. The witnesses were Malcom Peterson, Ely Cooper, and William Johnson. Ira Brookins and William Johnson are listed as students in the household of Owen H. Davis, school teacher, in the 1850 Randolph Co., GA Census. In the same census in the household of James Peacok, there is a listing of Mary Hamilton. I am wondering if this Mary is "my" Mary Hamilton b. April 11, 1832.
