Josie, That sounds like it may be on the right track but I think my Emily was probably born a little later than that. Her husband, Charles Harris, was born in 1845, and their childeren were Mittie, b. 1869, Mattie, b. 1879, Mettie b. 1885. Mattie was my grandmother and thought it possible her name could have been Martha. Thanks for your time and your help.
