His name was John Owens and he married Lula Ward at the turn of the century. They had a farm near Atmore, Alabama. Had nine children. My father is one of those children. John Owens tragically died in a car accident (he was hit by a drunk driver) in Atmore. Any info any one can provide will be deeply appreciated.
