She was the daughter of Benjamin Byrd and Edney Surls (believed) Rilah served in the 1st Battalon Alabama Artillery, Company F He entered as a Private and was mustered out as a Private Childredn: James Henry Roland b 1867, Henry County, Alabama Lizzie Roland born Henry County, Alabama James Henry Roland married first Lucy G. ----- and 2nd he married Dacie Unknown after 1902. James Henry Roland , orphan child of Mollie Byrd Roland received $333.36 from Benjamin F Byrd,s estate. Thomas A. Terry was his guardian. Roland in 1920 was age 53 Dacie was 54 Ethel was age 21 born in Ala Trudie age 18 was born in Ala Bob age 20 was a boarder Children of James Roland and Lucy G: Barlow Roland born 1890 Jane L Roland born 1892 Lucy Roland born 1896 Ethel Roland born 1899 Trudie Roland born 1901 1920 Georgia Census Decator Donalsonville, Dist 40 Barlow Roland age 21 born in GA father and mother born in GA Rubie age 3 born in GA William age 1 born in GA I have over 25 pages of information on the Byrd family which includes the Roland family. I have not finished getting throught it all as I had to stop and have a pace maker implant. But will be getting back to it soon. Does any of these fit your Rolands?
