James Washington Parrish was born abt. 1823 in South Carolina. He married Mary Mareman on Jan 1, 1844 in Henry County, Alabama. Mary was born abt. 1826 in Alabama. They had Elizar Jane Parrish, John W.Parrish, Augustus Parrish, and Sarah Parrish. Elizar Parrish married Luke Louis Jordan on July 14, 1860 in Henry County, Alabama. Luke was born abt. 1829 in North Carolina. They had one son James W. (possibly Washington) Jordan abt 1861 in Henry County, Alabama.
