Hi Sandi! Maybe we can help each other on this! I have had the hardest time with my Parish/Parrish line. I do have a James Washington Parish, but I have different children listed (which is probably incorrect). I show that his father was Elias Parrish, Sr. and his mother was Jane (?). I have no documentation to prove this - it was simple gathered from other researchers. If your Parrish/Parish line resided in Henry County, there is a strong possibility that there is a relation. I would be more than happy to send you a file showing all of the Parishes I have and how they relate. Perhaps you can correct me on some things or we can put some puzzle pieces together! I am sure of what I have collected on my direct line back to Levi Parish (b. c. 1814 in either NC or SC; d. 13 Oct 1879 Henry County, AL). The only other info that I have on the parrishes are from census records. I have tons of Parrishes from Henry, Al during the same time as J.W. Parrish but have not proof if any of them are related.
