The answer is---No. John & Nancy's eldest son William S. married a Nancy Kirkland also. In 1846 he left with his parents for Texas and 10 years later she married Randall Blackshear. In 1886, her son by Wm S Scott, Wm T Scott, moved to texas also, along with his two half brothers, Randall and Bryant Byrd Blackshear. The younger Nancy remained in Henry Co. and died in 1900., Lannie Walker.
