He married Sarah "Sallie" Davis (b.1827, d. 1894) on November 14, 1849. Their children were the following: Amanda Ward (b. 1850) - she married William J. Hutto James R. Ward (b.1853) - he married Frances ? Joseph M. Ward (b. 12 Jun 1857, d. 8 Dec 1929) - he married Mary Elizabeth Clenney (b.10 Oct 1870, d. 23 Jan 1935) on December 21, 1890. ***************************** James R. Ward and Frances had the following children: Daniel W. Ward (b. 1903) James R. Ward, Jr. (b. 1905) Alice L. Ward (b. 1909) *************************************************** Joseph M.
