Roberta Would folks living in Abbeyville Town have gone to this school? Do you know if school records from the 20's may have survived? High School Clayton, On August 7, 1907, the Alabama Legislature provided for the establishment and maintenance of a high shcool in each county in the state. Headland was selected as the site for the new school allotted to Henry County. It was named the Henry County High school. The new school opened in 1911. The school burned in 1945.
