Elias Strickland born 14 Apr 1804 in NC, died 8 Jan 1858 somewhere between Alabama and Texas. Married to ( Synthia Starling born abt 1810 in NC, died 25 Jun 1872 in Henry County Alabama. Elias's sister Susannah Strickland born 6 Mar 1808 in NC, died Abt 1858 in Henry County Alabama Married to Solomon Starling born 22 Jul 1791 in NC, died 23 Jul 1874 in Henry County Alabama. They traveled down with Synthia and Solomon's father John Starling.born about Abt 1767 in NC, I believe he was widowed when he came down with his son and daughters families. He died Abt 1835 in Henry County. I have conversed with a couple of descendants of John Chambers Strickland, one of Elias' children, and I believe a descendent of Alfred Starling, one of Solomon's son's. I'm especially interested if there are any descendants of Elias' other children.
