Clerk to get information on how to submit requests regarding obtaining copies of marriage certificates, I was told that they do not have enough staff to pull the records, make copies, and mail them. They suggested I either come in and do it myself or hire a genealogist to do it for me. Is there anyone on this list that lives close enough to Abbeville, familiar enough with getting copies of old marriage certificates that is willing to help me out. I am willing to pay a reasonable fee? I have about seven certificates, with dates and full names I am seeking. If you or anyone you know can help, please e-mail me privately [email protected]
