She married John Tillman P. Allen on 25 November 1853 in Henry County, Alabama. John Tillman died 12 April, 1867 in Henry County. Amanda later moved to Kosse, Limestone County, Texas and lived with her children. Amanda died there 18 June 1899. Does anyone know the name of the parents of Eliza Amanda Meadows? Their children were: (1) Frances Louiza Allen who married Benjamin Jonah Waller in Henry County, Alabama. He was the son of Burton and Elizabeth (Blackshear) Boyd Waller. Frances and Benjamin migrated to Kosse, Limestone County, Texas. (2) William Wesley Allen who married Epsy Arissa Bruner in Henry County Alabama. William Wesley and Epsy migrated to Kosse, Limestone County, Texas. (3) Susan Elizabeth Allen who married George C. Barber in Henry County, Alabama. No further information on Susan Elizabeth.
