Roberta, No problem...I don't know the full history of the McClenny/Clenney names but frequently you will find both names in the same family way back when... Now my question is - directing myself to your memory - what, if anything, do you have tucked away there about the McClenny family? My grandfather William Cloe McClenny was born in Henry Co in 1886. His father was Thomas Charles McClenny, br 1849 Barbour Co. Mother was Sarah Catherine Carr, br 1854 Barbour Co, mar 1871 Barbour Co; Thomas' dad was David McClenny br 1816 Johnston Co, NC who married Gatsey Ann Pellum br 1821 Barnville Dist, SC, mar 1841 Fayette Co, GA, then moved to AL and between 1841 and 1850 had seven children, six of whom were daughters. They are the ones who have eluded me. Any information will be very much appreciated.
