Dale County Genealogical and Historical Society Meeting Set The Dale County Genealogical and Historical Society will meet Monday, August 2, 2004, in the Alice Doughtie Wing of the Ozark-Dale County Public Library. The meeting will begin at 7:00 with President Manonia Snell presiding. Civil War reenactor, Charles Zeigler, Newton, will present a slide presentation of the recent funeral of Mrs. Alberta Martin, Elba, the last Alabama Civil War widow.
