Not only did he help me but he did it so cheerfully. And he made our local history come alive in his most interesting writings.     1. 1820 or earlier Tax List for Henry County.

    3. Since Henry County was one of the counties that did not file an 1820 census report, my question is... Questions for the one of you in Henry Co., Alabama: Is there an 1820 Taxpayers List or earlier? If so, where is it? What other kinds of old records can be found outside the Probate office?
